FAQ
We want you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible prior to your
flight with us and we know that sometimes that means getting all the details.
-
Yes! We follow FAA standards and guidelines to continually maintain the safety of our airplanes. We will also never force a flight if weather and conditions are not ideal. Not to mention, your pilot is commercially rated with 1000+ hours under his belt.

Arizenfly is working with a wide spectrum of individuals facing many different life challenges. Our participants are on the path of recovery from drugs and alcohol, depression, physical challenges, veterans struggling with PTSD, and young adults who need structure, direction, and inspiration. We are open to flying anyone, so this is only the beginning of types of clients we have already inspired.
Flights are not one-size-fits-all. We cater each experience for the individual flying with us. Our goal is to make you feel safe, secure, and supported. We want you to feel confident in the air and inspired by your experience. Period.

We fly out of the Boulder Municipal Airport. Where we fly is dependent on weather and what you, our co-pilot, is comfortable with and where you’d prefer to go. There is no specific flight plan or map we’re following.
We may keep it “low and slow” in the flatlands near the airport or venture into the beautiful foothills of Colorado. In general, we fly around the front range and no further west than the Continental Divide. -
When we fly is all weather dependent. We will work with you and your schedule specifically to match up with a good weather window. Luckily, there are lots of those in sunny Colorado!
-
All of this and all of you is welcome. We take many people flying who have never flown before and/or have a fear of flying. Arizenfly is a safe place for you to explore that space and we will never do anything or ask anything of you that you are not comfortable with.
If just sitting in the airplane is all you’re feeling that day, that is absolutely honored and respected.

You will be flying with the Arizenfly founder and pilot, George. You can read more about George and his story here.
George is a commercially rated single and multi engine pilot with an additional rating in commercial seaplanes. He has 1000+ hours of flight time. -
First, we need to just say…this is not a flight-see service or a tourist attraction. We are serving individuals in need of an experience and connection with Arizenfly and aviation.
With that said, if there is someone you’d like to take along with you on your flight, we do our best to address that and decide if it’s OK on a flight-by-flight basis. Basically, we just want to know that it is for the right reasons and/or necessary. -
We fly with a Cessna model 172, four seat, which is always maintained to FAA standards.
